Terms & Conditions
SP Events is the event styling brand of One Select Pty Ltd, trading as Surprise Planner. ABN 21 660 260 846 · ACN 660 260 846. These terms describe how we work with you alongside your written quote and booking confirmation.
1. Quotes & bookings
Starting prices on this website are indicative and shown in Australian dollars. Your written quote confirms the agreed styling, total price, applicable taxes, delivery arrangements and any additional charges. The quote also sets out its expiry date and the payment needed to confirm your booking. Your date and items are only reserved once we confirm the booking in writing.
2. Deposit & payment
Your quote and booking confirmation specify the deposit, balance due date and available payment methods. Short-notice bookings may require full payment before the event. Please check these details before accepting your quote.
3. Hire items
Hired plinths, letters, signage and props remain the property of One Select Pty Ltd unless your quote says otherwise. The hire period, collection time and any weekend arrangements are confirmed in your quote. Please take reasonable care of the items and let us know promptly about loss or damage. Any proposed charges will be explained to you.
4. Delivery, setup & access
Package starting prices include delivery, setup and pack-down within our metro Melbourne service zone. We confirm coverage for your venue and any additional travel or access fees in your quote before you commit. Please arrange safe, timely venue access and let us know about stairs, parking, loading restrictions or limited installation windows.
5. Changes, cancellations & rescheduling
Contact us as soon as possible if your plans change. Changes and rescheduling depend on availability and may affect your quote. Your written booking terms explain the applicable cancellation timeframes, costs and refund arrangements. These arrangements do not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
6. Outdoor events & weather
Heat, wind and direct sunlight can affect balloons and installations. We will discuss suitable placement, access and a wet-weather alternative with you where relevant. If conditions are unsafe, we will discuss a safe alternative with you before proceeding.
7. Consumer rights
Our services come with rights and guarantees under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these terms removes or limits those rights.
8. Photography
We may ask to photograph the completed styling for our portfolio. Let us know your preferences when booking. Please tell us before the event if you do not want your event featured; we will respect that choice.
